（八打灵18日讯）主徒会马来西亚会省八打灵圣依纳爵堂庆祝建堂35周年庆。由吉隆坡总教区大家长廖总主教主礼感恩弥撒，主徒会的神父们共祭。总主教特别感谢主徒会在教区的服务与贡献。他也提醒教友们要爱护堂区，因为堂区也是大家的家庭。
“建设需要很长的时间和精神，但毁灭却可以一瞬之间的事情。”总主教说到。
总主教在这之前的总教区神职人员退省中也指出世界的和平没有进步的现象，但却有很大的退步。所以，维护和平是基督徒的使命之一，因为天主把照管世界的使命赋予了人类。因此，基督徒应成为世界的光和地上的盐，以见证去影响世界变成更和平。
35年的堂区绝对说明了她的存在意义。如今堂区的教友进入老化现象，年轻人数逐渐减少，这也提醒教友们需要记得和履行信仰的誓愿，爱天主在万有之上。 （文/王安当）
(18th October, Kuala Lumpur) The Congregation of the Disciples of the Lord (CDD) in the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, celebrated the 35th anniversary of the construction of the St. Ignatius Church. Archbishop Leow presided over a thanksgiving Mass, joined by the priests of CDD. Archbishop Leow expressed gratitude for the service and contributions of CDD Fathers in the archdiocese. He also reminded the parishioners to cherish the parish, as it is a home for everyone.
“Construction takes a long time and effort, but destruction can happen in an instant,” remarked Archbishop Leow.
During a retreat with the clergy of the archdiocese before this event, Archbishop Leow highlighted the lack of progress in global peace and noted significant setbacks. He emphasized that maintaining peace is one of the missions of Christians, as God has entrusted humanity with the responsibility of caring for the world. Therefore, Christians should be the light of the world and the salt of the earth, witnessing to influence the world towards greater peace.
The 35 years of the parish’s existence clearly illustrate its significance. With the aging of the parishioners and a decline in the number of young people, the community is reminded to remember and fulfill the vows of faith, loving God above all else.
